Hangar 79 LLC — Return & Refund Policy
We want customers to feel confident ordering from Hangar 79. If something isn't right with your order, please contact us and we'll work with you to resolve it.
Returns
Eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery.
Model kits must be returned in new and resalable condition. This generally means:
All factory-sealed internal parts bags remain sealed.
Runners have not been cut.
No parts have been assembled.
No painting, sanding, panel lining, gluing, decal application, or other modification has occurred.
Manuals, decals, accessories, runners, and other included materials are present.
The product has not been materially damaged after delivery.
Opening the outer cardboard model-kit box by itself does not necessarily make a return ineligible because many model-kit boxes are not factory sealed.
Tools and hobby supplies must be unused and returned with their original packaging when applicable.
Return Shipping
For returns based on preference, ordering the wrong product, or no longer wanting an item, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
Hangar 79 will cover reasonable return or replacement shipping when:
We shipped the wrong item.
The item arrived materially damaged due to shipping.
The item was defective or materially incomplete when received.

Refunds
Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow approximately 5–10 business days after approval for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return resulted from an error by Hangar 79 or applicable law requires otherwise.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless required by applicable law, the following generally cannot be returned:
Model kits that have been started or assembled
Kits with opened internal parts bags where condition or completeness cannot reasonably be verified
Used tools or hobby supplies
Opened paints, adhesives, top coats, putties, chemicals, or similar consumables
Gift cards
Items specifically marked Final Sale
Special-order merchandise identified as non-returnable before purchase
Sale merchandise is returnable unless the product page specifically identifies it as Final Sale.
